LEGAL IN CALIFORNIA - But maybe not for long !

During 2013 the California legislature had attempted to ban these firearms from being owned in California. That ban FAILED (for now)
!

SIMILAR HISTORY: In 2003 the state of California announced a new ban on fifty caliber firearms. So for 9 months Barrett made and shipped primarily receivers! By completing the purchase and delivery of a RECEIVER ONLY, the Barret guns were "Grandfathered In" (which kept them legal) for those that purchased during that time.

Anticipating a similar reaction in 2014, and in order to guarantee that a greater number of Californians will be able to legally purchase these rifles, we are offering the option of purchasing the RECEIVER ONLY.

This option allows the purchaser to sercure the legal "firearm" part as soon as possible and is about half the cost of the fully built firearm. Click here to SEE THE CA249 ORDER FORM
