COURSES & TRAINING

The U.S. Machine Gun Armory (MGA), is excited to now offer a recurring set of instructional courses to both Civilians and LE/Military personnel. Acceptance in these classes is contigent upon the applicant passing a criminal background check performed by local law enforcement agencies. Courses are generally split into a classroom session followed by a live-fire "in-the-field" session. Classroom sessions are presented at our site in Salt Lake City, Utah with the field session occuring on a safe, privately owned site.

MGA 101 - INTRODUCTION TO MACHINEGUN OPERATION.
This class offers Civilians a chance to get a deeper understanding on the design, field servicing, and operation of a variety of "interesting" and even rare weaponry. MGA 101 covers the following firearms.

  • FN Minimi SAW (The earliest FN belt-fed 5.56mm SAW)
  • FN M-249 SAW (The workhorse of our Military today)
  • FN MK-46 SAW (The latest 5.56mm SAW)
  • MGA MK-46LE SAW (Our LE model, burst-pack SAW)
  • Czech CZ-58 Assault Rifle (The upgraded AK-47)
  • M16 Assault Rifle (The American Standard!)
  • Czech Skorpion SA Vz-61 Submachinegun (in 9x17mm - .380 ACP)
  • HK MP-5K Submachinegun (The standard SWAT subgun)

MGA 102 - INTRODUCTION TO SUPPRESSED FIREARMS.
This class offers Civilians a chance to get a deeper understanding on the design, and operation of a variety of "Suppressed" weapons. We also cover how to maintain them, increase their suppression, etc. MGA 102 covers the following suppressed firearms.

  • Theory, design and maintainance
  • Integrally suppressed Ruger 10/22 Rifles
  • Integrally suppressed Ruger Mk2/3 Pistols
    (Essential to Spec-Ops and SWAT/Sherrifs)
  • Suppressed large bore pistols
  • Suppressed HK MP-5 submachine guns
  • Suppressed M16 Assault Rifles
  • Suppressed M-249 SAW

TRAINING WITH HIGH EXPLOSIVES, HE FRAG GRENADES, ANTI-TANK GUNS, LAW ROCKETS.
